This course provides and introduction to the processes involved in the formation of the Earth’s physical environment. Emphasis is on the general studies of flora, fauna, weather, climate, vegetation, soils, and landforms. A focus on meteorology will be integral to the course.

A survey of the cultural diversity found on earth. Topics include population, language, religion, ethnicity, and popular culture, with a special focus on spatial attributes and expressions of culture.
